Reliance Jio Infocomm, spearheaded by Chairman Akash Ambani, has announced a strategic collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay to create the 'Bharat GPT' (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) program. Ambani also hinted at the company's ambitious plans to develop a new operating system (OS) specifically tailored for televisions. Speaking at the annual Techfest at IIT-Bombay, Ambani underscored the significance of cultivating a robust development ecosystem and provided insights into the vision of "Jio 2.0."
He emphasized Jio's commitment to exploring artificial intelligence (AI) applications, foreseeing a transformative impact across various product and service domains. Ambani further outlined Jio's upcoming launches in media, commerce, communication, and devices, expressing enthusiasm about the introduction of 5G private networks.
